This add-water-only mix offers subtle savory notes of onion, garlic, and rustic cornmeal. Use these delicious treats as a bread basket offering or a side bread that accompanies numerous proteins.
Preheat oil to 350°F. Add 5 lbs. Hushpuppy Mix to 6 ½ cups cool water, and whisk until well blended. Allow batter to rest for 10 minutes. Scoop batter into preheated oil using scoop. FRY 3 to 4 minutes until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
